FAQ
Questions. Straight answers.
When can I give?
Right now. Pick a monthly gift on the Give page. Give, or join the app waitlist, before January 2027 and you're a Founding Donor for good.
Why $30 a month and not $365 a year?
A dollar a day is how it feels. $30 a month is what we charge. That's $360 a year, five dollars less than a dollar every day. We'd rather tell you that than round it in our favor.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Not guaranteed yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. Our 501(c)(3) application is in progress. If the IRS recognizes us, exemption is expected to apply back to our formation date (Sept. 28, 2026), so gifts made now would be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Until the IRS decides, we can't promise it. See Transparency for the latest.
Does my money go to a person?
No. Never. It goes into a program that DAD runs, or co-runs with a partner. Members don't receive cash from DAD.
Can I choose exactly where my dollar goes?
You can watch exactly where it goes. Where the money is needed most is decided by evidence, experts and in the future a community vote.
What does it cost to run DAD?
Not zero. Nobody's is. We'll publish the exact split between what reached programs and what it cost to run us, and you can check it.
Do you use AI?
Everywhere it makes the dollar go further: checking, matching, reporting. Never for decisions about people, and never as a person. Every AI system has a human who owns it.
Who decides which programs get funded?
County-level data, and field experts. Not a closed committee.
How is DAD funded right now?
A founding group of funders is paying to build the platform and the organization, so donor money can go to programs.
Can I cancel?
Any time, in two clicks. Manage your gift with the email you gave with. No phone call. No guilt trip.
How do I know you're not another one of those charities?
You don't. Not yet. That's why every dollar will be on a public ledger. Don't trust us. Watch us.
I need support. Can DAD help?
Our first programs open in June 2027. Leave your details on Get Involved and we'll tell you when one opens near you.
What does DAD stand for?
Dynamic Aid Delivery.
Our measure of success isn't how big DAD gets. It's how much less the world needs it.
Built for everyone who stopped believing giving works. Come watch us prove you wrong.
